Reading Transport Ltd is very pleased to announce that negotiations have now concluded for its much-loved Goldline excursion and tours programme to be operated next by year Truemans Travel, the well known family-owned concern based at North Camp, near Farnborough.
“The contract with Truemans has now been signed,” said James Freeman, Chief Executive Officer of Reading Transport Ltd. This allows us to reassure the many hundreds of loyal customers of Goldline that they will have a full programme of excursions and tours from Reading for 2009 and beyond.
“The programme will be operated by Truemans who own a fleet of ultra-modern coaches and who already provide a varied schedule of tours with many local departure points. So standards of operation will be maintained,” commented Mr. Freeman.
He added: “We shall be selling these tours over the phone, on our website and of course in person at our popular Broad Street Mall kiosk.”
Said Richard Trueman: “We are very proud that Reading Transport has chosen Truemans as the preferred company to operate the successful Goldline day excursion and holiday programmes.
“We are confident we can maintain the high standard of service afforded the Goldline clientele. Truemans, being established since 1953, have a wealth of experience in the day excursion and holiday market.
“We look forward to exciting times ahead as we continue the service to the public of Reading and the surrounding area,” he added.
